2005 was a prominent year in my life.. It was a year which marked the end of my engineering days. I dreamt of getting through campus interviews , having a job , the role of a software engineer , atleast with one of the IT Majors . This dream was no where to be fulfilled. I could not land up with a job. I graduated without having a job.

Mark my words , the winds of uncertainity were looming straight over my head . I was in a severe dilemma , as to plan what would be the right move for the future.

Being from Information Science background , I had and still have loads of love, passion for Microsoft Technologies as well as Unix/Linux programming. My other interests included Finance which still is a distant dream.

At this stage , I was not sure , where to set my goals on ...
1. To pursue a career in technology

OR

2. To pursue a career in management.

This issue was soon solved when I landed up a job with Sobha Renaissance Information Technology, which according to me is" One of the bestest companies to be associated with "

I would also like to mention that , myself not landing up a job from campus interviews , was a boon in disguise. It threw open a wide door where in I could pursue my passion ie Microsoft Technologies.

If I would have been recruited into any organization from my campus interviews , I could have been made to work on any technology testing , SAP , C , Java.

I always felt I could compromise salary , but not technology. To my surprise , my job @ SRIT was all about .NET .

I wish to thank god once again for guiding me along the right path, helping me pursue my passion (MS Technologies).

Its been close to two years , I ve turned a pro. Though my association with SRIT ended 10 months ago , I still value my experience @ SRIT and it holds a special place in my heart.
It was SRIT which taught me something , which even my engineering background dint teach me.

I dont have an exact word to describe it . I would coin it as " To keep my eyes open to technology". With this awesome phrase I have sure started on an awesome journey in this Software industry.

And about SRIT , there's another blog which is upcoming.
